20 March 2012 West Tamar Council requests the Minister for Health, the Honourable Michelle O'Bryne MP to reassure Council that the Tasmanian Child Health and Parenting Services will remain unchanged as a universal service, accessible to all Tasmanian parents with children between the ages of zero and five, regardless of their socio economic status or location. The West Tamar Council within your new developed Windsor Park Precinct houses a Community Health Nurse along with locations at Beaconsfield and Exeter. Reducing this service to your community members will be detrimental to the health and development of children with the West Tamar Community and will be a loss of a valuable service that Council can be associated with.
