What’s great: We loved the breakfast at
‘glass’ which brought a new dimension to
the traditional buffet offering. We also loved
the meticulous service, the décor, the art
and the diverse range of bars!
What’s not so great: It was very hard to find
fault and we were completely satisfied with
our stay. Though, we did wonder why there
was an Ethernet port in the toilet!
Editor’s tips: Definitely take time out and
book into one of the Relaxation Rooms or
Suites and enjoy a ‘Bathmaster Experience’
– it’s worth it! Hilton Sydney also offer
some great inspirational weekend getaway
packages to help you relax and refresh.

We were impressed with this hotel from the moment we stepped into the
lobby. The Hilton Sydney is the result of a major reconstruction from rooftop
to basement, with a plethora of hotel industry awards to attest to the quality
of its amenities. The total effect is captivating.
The attentiveness of the reception staff
set us up nicely for what was to come.
The reconstruction extended to the entire
culture and mindset of the establishment -
the attention to detail is outstanding.
Our room was such a relaxation haven,
it was hard to leave. The designer had
thought of everything and incorporated
contemporary style with function. This
was evidenced throughout the space, for
example, the combination of daylight sun
filters with block-out blinds.
The glass brasserie provided a unique
dining experience throughout the day
and night with a 13-metre floor to ceiling
glass wall that frames a captivating view of
the heritage Queen Victoria Building. An
enlightening space to start the evening
is in the glass wine bar. This is a real
attraction with its three-dimensional wine
experience offering over 10,000 expertly
chosen bottles. Later in the night, a visit
to Zeta bar is essential in order to enjoy a
luxury cocktail in the opulent deep red and
purple surrounds of this plush nightspot.
The ambience and the experience of the
Hilton Sydney is the total package. They
have looked at every aspect from the
guest’s perspective and have ventured
far beyond expectations. Be inspired, as
the Hilton Sydney is definitely the place to
‘eat, meet, sleep and play’.
