PUBLIC ACCESS CABLE TELEVISION ADVISORY COMMITTEE<br />
To the Honorable Board of Selectmen, Town Manager, and Citizens of Millbury:<br />
The Millbury Public Access Cable Television Advisory Committee works with Charter<br />
Communications and Verizon Communications to establish improve and maintain cable<br />
services to residents. The committee posts and updates notices on the community<br />
bulletin board. Channel 11, 12, and 13 for Charter Customers and Channels 24, 26, 28<br />
for Verizon Customers. Millbury Public Access is funded solely by grants from Charter<br />
and Verizon; we do not use tax money to fund our organization.<br />
The committee is comprised of seven members and one associate member. They are as<br />
follows:<br />

Public Access Television, also known as local origination programming, is a place where<br />
ordinary people can create content which is broadcast or cablecast through our cable<br />
systems. It is a First Amendment forum, where, the producer holds editorial control.<br />
Any Resident may have a program aired on a public access channel.<br />
This year we added three new shows to the Millbury Public Access family:<br />
On The Light Side – This show is hosted by Joe Coggans and it features guests<br />
from the local area, including politicians, and friends.<br />
Around Town Millbury - This show is hosted by our own Lori Burrows and<br />
features local politicians, small business’, and town events.<br />
Puzzled Parents – hosted by Bruce Lavigne. This show is designed to help<br />
parents of autistic children find what interests children and keep them busy.<br />

An Evening with Senator Moore – Senator Mike Moore brings us news and<br />
updates from the State House
