Artistic Talents Shine
Blanchet’s Fine Arts
Whether in band, choir
or drama, Blanchet students
found success.
Under the outstanding
leadership of Music Director
Kami Hettwer, the band and
choir programs have seen a
marked increase in participation
and overall quality. In additon
to band, guitar ensemble and
choir classes, Mrs. Hettwer has
provided many wonderful
opportunities for her music
students to share their talents
including participation in pep
band, musical workshops and
festivals.
The high school drama program
welcomed two talented guest
directors for the 2011-12 season.
Dave Berrier directed the fall
production of The Scarlet Letter
and Gabrielle Brewer-Wallin
directed the spring musical
Quilters. Both plays showcased
the wonderful theatrical and
musical talents of our students.
Kasey Roberts brought her
expertise and guidance to the
mid high program for the year
with the production of two
delightful plays, School House
Rock and Seussical.
