Special permission was given for some members of 1 st Kidderminster Company to<br />

be photographed on the steps of 10 Downing Street while visiting London.<br />

40 years at Chalford<br />

The 1 st Chalford Company recently<br />

celebrated its 40 th anniversary. The<br />

company had almost closed with<br />

numbers down to two boys, but<br />

through prayerful support there are<br />

now ten boys and it is hoped that<br />

Anchor Boys will re-open in a few<br />

months.<br />

Golden Jubilee<br />

Past and current members of 34 th<br />

North Staffs Company (Salem<br />

Methodist Church, Smallthorne) were<br />

reunited last year to celebrate its 50 th<br />

anniversary. The Lord Mayor and local<br />

MPs joined in the celebrations in<br />

Smallthorne Community Hall. Captain,<br />

Kendall Prosser, who has been with the<br />

company for its 50 years, says the<br />

company has had a successful year and<br />

is confident for its future.<br />

Archbishop’s Servers<br />
