Test equipment<br />
H<strong>and</strong>-held test kit<br />
The h<strong>and</strong>-held mini test kit may be used to:<br />
b check operation of the control unit <strong>and</strong> the tripping <strong>and</strong> pole-opening system by<br />
sending a signal simulating a short-circuit<br />
b supply power to the control units for settings via the keypad when the circuitbreaker<br />
is open (Micrologic P <strong>and</strong> H control units).<br />
Power source: st<strong>and</strong>ard LR6-AA battery.<br />
Full function test kit<br />
The test kit can be used alone or with a supporting personal computer.<br />
The test kit without PC may be used to check:<br />
b the mechanical operation of the circuit breaker<br />
b the electrical continuity of the connection between the circuit breaker <strong>and</strong> the<br />
control unit<br />
b operation of the control unit:<br />
v display of settings<br />
v automatic <strong>and</strong> manual tests on protection functions<br />
v test on the zone-selective interlocking (ZSI) function<br />
v inhibition of the earth-fault protection<br />
v inhibition of the thermal memory.<br />
The test kit with PC offers in addition:<br />
b the test report (software available on request).<br />
