In a non-serviced area you may be required to pay for
any services and/or benefits arranged. Receipts for these
services/benefits, with details of the breakdown, should be
submitted to:

Reimbursement for towing costs (maximum of 200 km
round trip) in non-serviced areas is determined at
AANT service depot payment rates as amended from
time to time.
Refunds for all other services and benefits will be
calculated as per your applicable membership
entitlements.
Accident, fire, water damage or theft
No benefits, other than one night accommodation,
if appropriate, apply to vehicles involved in an accident
(including windscreen damage), fire, vandalism, water
damage or theft, irrespective of whether they are insured
or uninsured.
Additional costs
The payment of any extra costs for transport from an
approved service depot or repairer to a motel, rental car
depot or other location is not automatic and must be
approved by an AANT Plus consultant before the journey
is undertaken.
Bogged vehicles
AANT Plus benefits do not cover the recovery of bogged
vehicles/towed unit.
Towing assistance may be provided at your (the member’s)
expense.
Distance limits
AANT Plus does not cover expenses incurred providing
Road Service (including towing) in country serviced areas
beyond the distance to the nearest available AANT service
depot (or interstate equivalent) or 100 km, whichever is
the lesser.
Insurance liability
AANT is not an insurance policy and does not accept
responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or goods
therein, during processes involved in vehicle relocations
and recoveries.
It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle
is adequately insured at all times.
Livestock and pets
AANT does not cover temporary accommodation for
livestock or pets following a breakdown.
Keys
If you are more than 100 km from home, except for
one night Emergency Accommodation and Locksmith
Subsidy, AANT does not cover vehicles immobilised
because the keys have been lost, damaged, stolen
or locked in the car. Normal Road Service conditions
apply.
Parts and labour
AANT does not cover the cost of any part, labour or other
costs associated with the repair of the vehicle.
Organised events
Vehicles participating in specifically convened organised
events (such as rallies) involving road closures or official
traffic controls are excluded from accessing Plus benefits.
Plus benefits are available only when travelling to and
from such events.
Sea crossings
AANT will not pay for the freight costs for vehicles and
passengers on any sea crossing. A single fare will be
provided to one person to return to the repair location to
collect the repaired vehicle.
Tyres
If you are more than 100 km from home and a suitable
roadworthy spare wheel (vehicle only) has been fitted
and punctured. Plus benefit is limited to one night
Emergency Accommodation.
