is a State mandated document
(NRS 645.252) and is required to
be used “as soon as practicable”
with each client. Many agents do
not understand the importance of
this document or how to properly
complete this form.

Contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes.
You may refuse to contribute without reprisal and the National Association of REALTORS ® or any of its state associations or local
boards will not favor or disfavor any member because of the amount contributed. 70% of each contribution is used by your state
PAC to support state and local political candidates. Until your state PAC reaches its RPAC goal 30% is sent to National RPAC to
support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a; after the state PAC reaches its RPAC goal it
may elect to retain your entire contribution for use in supporting state and local candidates.
First, the entire top section of
the Duties Owed must be filled
in completely by the Licensee to
disclose the Name of the licensee,
his/her state licensee number(s), the
Brokerage the licensee is associated
with and the name of the Broker of
Record.
Next, at the bottom of the page, just
above the signatures, is the section
titled “Licensee Acting for Both
Parties”. Many agents do not have
their clients initial a choice (or they
have them initial both). Remember,
your client must choose and initial
that line. If your client later changes
their mind, a new duties owed must
be completed and they need to
indicate the new choice by initialing
the correct line. n
