Achievement for All Impact Report 2014 - 2015

Our Coaches
Since September 2014 Achievement
for All has trained 34 coaches
to deliver our award winning
refreshed programme in settings
across England and Wales. All our
coaches are qualified teachers and
have senior leadership experience.
They work with staff to identify the
areas the school wish to focus on.
Our coaches forge strong
partnerships with the nominated
lead within each setting known
as the School Champion.
Stuart says:
“The main attraction was
the opportunity to work with
professionals in a different setting.
This enhances the work that I lead
in my own schools and allows us
to share good practice. For me
what makes it worthwhile is a mix
of the professional development
and the witnessing of impact.”
Stuart Mansell is Head teacher of
Nene Valley Primary in Peterborough.
He has been an Achievement Coach
since January 2013 and works
part-time for Achievement for All.
Together our coaches and our settings develop an action plan that
supports the implementation of the four core elements:
Leadership:
Consolidating and supporting a
culture of distributed, inclusive and
effective leadership throughout the
school community.
Teaching and Learning:
Developing more effective teaching
practices for all children in the
classroom.
Wider Outcomes:
Securing all children’s engagement
across the curriculum and
developing behaviours that support
learning, good attendance, and wellbeing.
Parent and Carer Engagement:
Developing positive and constructive
relationships between parents, carers
and settings.
