pattern parts lists. It also applies to manual moves if an interconnect kit is installed. If TigerStop goes to
a dimension smaller than the backoff value, TigerStop will back up to the backoff value and wait until
the cut is complete. This is used to back out of the way of clamps or other devices.
To change Backoff...
1. Enter the new backoff value.
2. Press the [Done] soft key to save the parameter.
Retract
The retract setting is a global parameter that applies to all push and
pattern parts lists. It also applies to manual moves if an interconnect kit is
installed. After TigerStop has moved to position, TigerStop will back up
by the value of the retract setting and will wait for the tool to cycle before
moving to the next position.
To change Retract...
1. Enter the new retract value.
2. Press the [Done] soft key to save the parameter.
Retract Offset
The retract offset is a global parameter that works with the retract setting.
At the end of a retract move, TigerStop will move forward to meet the
part before it pushes to the next length. The retract offset offsets this
movement by the settings value. This is used when the part moves after
it is processed by the tool.
To change Retract Offset...
1. Enter the new retract offset value.
2. Press the [Done] soft key to save the parameter.
Retract Type
Retract Type is a global parameter that works with the retract setting. It
tells TigerStop when to apply the retract move to a pusher or pattern list.
Retract Type Options
Standard - The retract move will happen as soon as TigerStop moves material to position.
DM Only - The retract move will happen as soon as the DM circuit opens.
Note: DM Only mode is only usable with a Standard Interconnect Kit.
To change Retract Type...
1. Press [B] or [C] to toggle the retract type setting.
2. Press the [Done] soft key to save the parameter.
