MAKING AN IMPRESSION ON MEDIA MIDDLE<br />
AND TOP MANAGEMENT<br />
Basis for the proposal:<br />
In the currrent format the Natura 2000 Network does not “sell” well, in<br />
spite of significant efforts to make it become news on the part of some<br />
of the environmental journalists that know the subject. However, there is<br />
no similar degree of motivation among many middle and top managers<br />
in the media.<br />
Keys for its implementation:<br />
We would be talking about, for example:<br />
• Winning over media middle and top managers so that the Natura 2000<br />
Network becomes news. It would be a case of creating a more direct<br />
relationship with the editors and middle managers to ensure the publishing<br />
of those pieces that deal with matters related to the Natura 2000<br />
Network.<br />
• Ensuring “selling” headlines. Very closely related to some of the previous<br />
proposals, one of the keys is finding headlines that attract attention<br />
and encourage to go on reading through a singular approach.<br />
