OOH is a product of the USDOL, Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and is revised every two<br />
years. Career Outlook, the BLS Occupational Information newsletter, provides articles<br />
features various occupations.<br />
Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) provides employment and wage estimates for<br />
over 800 occupations. These are estimates of the number of people employed in certain<br />
occupations, and estimates of the wages paid to them. Self-employed persons are not<br />
included in the estimates. These estimates are available for the nation as a whole, for<br />
individual states, for metropolitan and nonmetropolitan areas, for certain industries, and<br />
more. The OES is a product of the USDOL, Bureau of Labor Statistics.<br />

Jobs Made Real: By Teens for Teens is a website with multimedia resources to help youth discover<br />
their career path.<br />
Explore Careers is a section of the Career Exploration and Student Success Toolkit provided by<br />
ISEEK, Minnesota’s career, education, and job resource. It includes multiple resources and activities<br />
for youth career exploration in the areas of: exploring careers and labor market information;<br />
informational interviewing; programs and colleges; and career research worksheet. ISEEK provides<br />
career information and exploration lesson plans with several lessons on developing career<br />
exploration competencies.<br />
Exploring Your Options - Career Exploration Worksheets can be found on the Vocational Information<br />
Center website as part of the Career Development and Guidance resources.<br />
Career Exploration Tools and Materials To Assist Educators, Counselors, And Students is a webpage<br />
with numerous career-exploration resources, provided by the New Jersey Department of<br />
