instruments. This one day workshop is led by an<br />
experienced Saxophonist Ian Hill and is designed to<br />
introduce you to the wonderful world of the<br />
saxophone. It’s about trying something different,<br />
having fun, working together and achieving new<br />

would like to continue studying Spanish after this<br />

Writing for children is a joy! And connecting with<br />
them through your books is immensely satisfying.<br />
This course, taught by a prize-winning author, will<br />
take you through each of the main fields of writing<br />
for children – picture books, Middle Grade, Teen<br />
and Young Adult. You will learn the requirements<br />
of each level and techniques for catching and<br />
maintaining the attention of young readers. There<br />
will be practical exercises and advice applicable to<br />
writing for any age group. Finally, there will be<br />
advice on how to prepare your book for publication<br />
and how to pitch to agents and publishers.<br />

Learn how to construct a plasticine model with<br />
guidance from a professional clay artist! This<br />
workshop will also guide you through the basics of<br />
creating your very own stop-motion animation.<br />
Participants are encouraged to bring along their<br />
own iPad (with prior installation of the ‘Animate<br />
It!’ App) or a digital SLR camera for animating.<br />
Cost for materials £5.00 payable to the tutor on<br />

looking for a way into writing, and for more<br />
