A Message from Kiwanis Governor Celia Earle
My Dear Key Clubbers,
Welcome to the Kiwanis 2015-2016 year, which is different from
the Key Club year. It has been a pleasure to have spent time with you this
past year at your District Convention and various board meetings and
trainings. I am always so energized when I am around you. I remain impressed
with the leadership that you have exhibited and the service that
you have performed. Our future looks very bright because of all of you.
You are awesome servant leaders, and I thank you for your commitment
and dedication to make this world a better place. I must state that once
you have left your respective High Schools, you need to join Circle K International (CKI) at
your Colleges/Universities and, if one does not exist, then please form one. Thanks to the current
Florida District of Key Club Governor, Shane Meagher, and your board for your outstanding
leadership that has resulted in significant growth within the District. Your membership
and service numbers are amazing…more hands mean more service. Keep up the good work!
Please work closely with your Kiwanis Clubs and Kiwanis Divisions; attend their meetings
and ask to participate in not only meetings, but projects. Some of the best projects are
those that are joint Kiwanis/Key Club projects. Let us exemplify the true meaning of “Kiwanis
Family.”
I am humbled to have been installed as the Florida District of Kiwanis Governor for
2015-2016 and will do my utmost best to continue to move the District well into the next Kiwanis
century. My motto is “Passion for People! Passion for Service!” which is what I strongly believe.
We are not on this earth for self, but to help others. Please know that I will be here for
you as I have been for the past few years.
