June Divided is one of those stories where everything just falls into place. Whether
you believe in coincidences or destiny, there is something undeniably special about
how the past 3 years have unfolded for the Philadelphia rockers. What started as a
college project for lead singer/guitarist Melissa Menago and guitarist Chris Kissel
has evolved into quite a journey that has found international success. With the
release of their EP "The Other Side of You" in 2011 and full length "Backbone" in
2012, June Divided has released 2 music videos on MTV, mtvU, MTV Buzzworthy,
MTV Hits Latin America, and VH1 Mega Hits Latin America. They saw commercial
radio success with their single "Secrets" and found themselves on Vans Warped
Tour, performing during SXSW, Summerfest (Milwaukee), Florida Music Festival,
Canadian Music Festival, independent national tours, and many other regional
festivals.
As June Divided enters 2014, they've got some big things on their plate, and a
game-changing plan. As they prepare for their next record, their sound is evolving.
Their new songs are shaping into something wildly different, fresh, and exciting, and
their already energetic live show is being aken to new heights. Expect to see June
Divided in the studio and on the road soon!
