Chronology charts provide a chronological framework within which events and
developments may be recorded. These charts develop time sense and help you to
comprehend and visualize the pageant of time and its relationships. For example you
can make political developments, Indian history, cultural achievements, religious
developments, etc. in a chronological chart.
Genealogy charts also called as tree charts is
developed from a base composed of several
‘roots’ which lead to a single trunk. The
branches, in turn, represent the developments
and relationships. For example, the genealogy or
tree charts can be used to represent the growth
and development of an empire, a dynasty and
historical facts of this nature. These prove
helpful in summarizing historical topics. I hope
the above tips would help you gain knowledge and make your learning experience
in the history lessons more interesting and enduring.
A Bouquet
The first day of voyage,
was an emotional rampage.
Parents walked in with inquiries.
Our assurance took out all their worries.
Balancing, catching, running, jumping
all became fun way of learning.
The story and rhymes world,
all opening a new horizon around
Crew ready for the assimilation,
to strengthen the tots for their destination.
Cherub announced the arrivals,
of the much awaited travellers.
Uttering new words and bubble talks,
were all achievements we could count.
Parents appreciating with fervour,
made us feel much happier
The toddlers came in crying and howling.
Few looking startled and others bouncing
As days passed, trust replaced dependence.
Relationship was built on adherence
At the end of the first semester,
when we turn back and ponder.
There’s something we’ll carry for miles
A beautiful bouquet of smiles!!!
