Imagine you find an old letter tucked inside a library book. The letter
reveals that there is a hidden passageway inyour school. Write about
your search for the passage and where it leads.
One day, I was reading my library book. Suddenly, I saw an old letter tucked inside
it. I slowly started taking out the letter so that the book doesn’t tear. I opened the
letter and read. It was written: “Surrounded by Silver oak trees, under the place
where children have fun and frolic, lays a hidden passageway. The utterance of
magic motto will transport you to unknown wonders”. This really excited me.
So, the next day, I told my friends about the letter I found in the library book. Everyone
was excited and we decided to search for the passageway. Initially, we had to solve
a puzzle. We pondered on it and came to an understanding that playground is the
place where children have fun and frolic.
So, I and my friends had been to playground during the lunch break. We started
tapping the ground from where I heard a metal sound. We started removing the
mud and soil above it.There it was a “hidden trap door”. We put all our might to
open the door.The door slowly opened.
It was very dark and we could see a staircase. We were frightened and excited
equally. We had taken our lunch boxes, a torch and a water bottle and went inside.
There were spider webs all over. After 500 meters, there was a door. We tried to
open it but couldn’t. Then, I recalled the utterance of magic motto would open the
door. We sang the motto, “where the mind is without fear and the head is held
high.” It slowly opened.
Do you know what it was? A candy world!!!
There were mountains of ice cream trees full of candies and lollipops. There were
chocolate rivers. Leaves of plants were of mint candies and the ground was filled
with chocolate. We just rushed there and started having candies, ice-creams.
After sometime, I heard my mother calling “Shweta, get up!” I woke up and looked
around. I was in my room. It was a dream.
Suddenly, I noticed a letter that I found in my library book. My dream has come
true!! I was excited to go to school and explore the hidden passageway.
