For “Ala Modalaindi” movie, the lady
director was in the director’s chair for the
first time and fortunately, the movie was
received well, with the positive talk all
over.
The makers did not had to spent
much on the promotions, as the
mouth talk did all the magic to
the film, making it do big at the
box office. The clever screenplay
and the trendy scenes, made the
film a favorite one for many.
Debut success brought
stars for next
Several felt, the Tollywood has
got a promising lady director
after a long time. That confidence
made the dashing director,
approach the notable stars,
Siddharth and Samantha for her
next.
Though the combination was
found interesting and created
hype in the media, to the surprise
of many, the film could not do
well and was remained as a
failure.
Shocked over this, Nandini
Reddy found it tough to cope up
with it and so took a gap of three
years.
