Oopiri
Adopted from “The Intouchables”, Oopiri was brought to screen,
making necessary changes to the script, to relate it to the
Telugu audience. In the beginning, when Vamsi Paidipally was
announced as the director of Oopiri, several felt, how can a
commercial films director can screen this emotional entertainer.
But overcoming all those, Vamsi made Oopiri by feeling it
through the heart and the film is now receiving appreciations
from the industry biggies.
Nagarjuna as a paraplegic patient, though not able to move his
body, he still managed to show all the required emotions through
his face itself. He danced, loved, cried and did several things
with face itself. To all the Akkineni fans, Oopiri is a real treat.
After a long time, Oopiri is estimated to be the quality film, with
all the needed elements, involved in it.
