John defines the children of God and children of the devil based on the
seed:
1 Jn3: 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains
in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 This is how we
know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are:
3.4 THE WEEDS
Thorns and Thistles and weeds are the product of the fall. It is the
sinfulness of man that produces weeds. Weeds are very much like the
wheat when it sprouts. It is distinguishable clearly from its fruit -
because good seed produces good fruit and bad seed produces bad fruit.
It is from the fruit that we distinguish good and the bad. This is why
Jesus forbade the weeds be pulled out before times. Their roots are so
