Small answers to big questions

The death of our loved ones is probably the
hardest event that many of us will bear.
Could this be in part because we don’t
acknowledge the reality of death often enough?
It’s too morbid a topic – we’re not meant to bring
it up in conversation.
But I feel we should.
If we really faced our fears around death, our
overpowering grief, our uncertainties about
whether we’re living our lives fully and spending
enough time with those most precious to us –
maybe this would bring to light the deepest
desires that we all share.
