only the beginning
and having a wonderful time.
time will be memory.
a year raced by,
a rollercoaster full of good things,
i grasped
each precious moment,
wrapped
like some priceless gift
from a friend.
experiencing the sea,
a feeling of mastering the ocean,
sliding down the faces of waves,
over and over
yet never the same.
stretching on warm soft sand.
the Year passing into memory,
crying and laughing,
pausing and running,
summer will turn to winter
and spring to fall.
