Golfers Take To The Links
This year's golf team is very confident in attaining a high standing
during its various matches scheduled in the spring. Confidence was
inspired because the majority of members, who held successful
positions last year, as Juniors, are able to compete in this season's
tournaments.
Although practice was minimal during the fall, our early spring
work-out should show us victory at our home course at Winged Foot
Country Club, and frequent visits to Lake Isle C.C. The teams opposed
at home courses are obliged to return the invitation at their
home. Therefore, the members receive the opportunity to play at
various professional courses throughout Westchester.
For preparation other than practice, the team is able to view the
professionals by the use of various movies within the school. This
gives them the chance to visualize how the swing should be executed
and ultimately results in better play on the course. Hence, no
matter what the final record shows, each participating student experiences
a very enjoyable season.
