J.V. Hockey Acquires New Strength And Skills

This year's season witnessed the emergence
of talent and promise for future seasons.
Standouts included Chris Grace with
his ability to skate, stickhandle and set up
plays. Brendan McKiernan's team spirit and
play making and brother Dennis' all-out hustling
stood the team in good measure. John
Holzach brought in the crucial goals while
Bill Blabe, with his stinging shot from the
point, pounded the oppostions' nets. Defense
was in the capable hands of Tony LaScala
and Eddie White. The goal was ably
defended by Mike LaPetina.
Mid-season additions like Steve Jones
and Lou Demchuk aided veterans Tim Singleton
and John Aglio, the team's captain.
Mr. Patrick Moran, the team's coach, lent
not only skillful direction but the kind of encouragement
and support players need.
