Especially the night train connections are very comfortable and travellers arrive in the city of Music whilst asleep.

Emperor Joseph II opened <strong>the</strong> Prater in 1766 for<br />
<strong>the</strong> public. The former hunting grounds of <strong>the</strong> Emperor<br />
encompass six square kilometres. The<br />
amusement park, in season from March to October,<br />
is called "Wurstelprater". From Praterstern Station,<br />
visitors can admire <strong>the</strong> giant ferris wheel, which is<br />
open year-round.<br />
