July 16-24. The Music Man<br />
follows fast-talking traveling<br />
salesman Harold Hill<br />
as he cons the people of<br />
River City, Iowa, into buying<br />
instruments and uniforms<br />
for a boys’ band he vows to<br />
organize. His plans to skip<br />
town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who<br />
transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.<br />

2pm. Tickets for Gold Level Seating are priced at $20 for General, $18 for<br />
Senior and $16 for Youth. All Platinum Level Seating are priced at $22.50.<br />
The production is put on by the Rancho Cucamonga Community<br />
Theatre, with book, music, and lyrics by Meredith Willson and story by<br />
Meredith Willson and Frank Lacey. The Rancho Cucamonga Community<br />
Theatre (RCCT) program is designed to provide a quality, learning and<br />
performance experience for youth, teens and adults in the community.<br />
Professionally directed and designed, theatre productions include large<br />
scale, Broadway-style musicals as well as smaller, intimate plays (comedies<br />
& dramas) and revues.<br />
RCCT is supported through ticket sales, advertising sales, participation<br />
fees, fundraising efforts, along with generous contributions from the Rancho<br />
Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation and other arts-friendly<br />
business and organizations through sponsorships and grants. Show attendance<br />
currently exceeds 3,500 ticketed audience members annually.<br />
