<strong>Sled</strong> <strong>Island</strong> is an annual five-day music and arts festival that brings together over 250 bands,<br />

comedy, film and art in more than 35 venues across Calgary, Alberta. Returning for its 10th year<br />

from June 22 - 26, <strong>2016</strong>, <strong>Sled</strong> <strong>Island</strong> offers multiple ways to explore the staggering number of<br />

options that go down across five jam-packed days.<br />

Passes and tickets* are available at <strong>Sled</strong><strong>Island</strong>.com, Sloth Records (736B 17th Ave. SW), Lukes Drug Mart (112 4th<br />

St. NE), the <strong>Sled</strong> <strong>Island</strong> office (2206A 4th St. SW) and Pass Pick-Up at the Fairmont Palliser** (133 9th Ave. SW).<br />

A Discovery Plus Pass gives you all the benefits of<br />

a Discovery Pass, plus priority access to all <strong>Sled</strong><br />

<strong>Island</strong> events (subject to capacity), Artist Lounge<br />

ALL-AGES PASS | $50<br />

Exclusively for our under-18 attendees, an All-Ages<br />

Pass offers full access to <strong>Sled</strong> <strong>Island</strong>’s all-ages venues,<br />

including Olympic Plaza, the Central United Church,<br />

Theatre Junction GRAND, Tub<strong>by</strong> Dog and day shows<br />

at Broken City. Passholders must be under 18 years<br />

of age at the time of the festival. Valid ID required at<br />

pick-up.<br />

Olympic Plaza is <strong>Sled</strong> <strong>Island</strong>’s main outdoor venue.<br />

This year’s lineup features <strong>Guide</strong>d By Voices, Built To<br />

Spill, Land of Talk, SUUNS, Speedy Ortiz, Moon King<br />

and more on Saturday, June 25. Best of all, the event is<br />

all-ages, fully licensed and free for kids 12 and under!<br />

Entry is included with all <strong>Sled</strong> <strong>Island</strong> passes, but single<br />

tickets are also available.<br />

A limited number of advance tickets are available for<br />

select shows (visit <strong>Sled</strong><strong>Island</strong>.com for details). Advance<br />

tickets guarantee show access.<br />

DOOR TICKETS | PRICES VARY<br />

Door tickets will be available for all shows not sold out<br />

at the time of the festival, subject to capacity. Show<br />

up early to get in!<br />

PASS PICK-UP<br />

Our range of festival passes are available for purchase<br />

and pick-up at the Fairmont Palliser (133 9th Ave.<br />

SW), where you’ll also find festival merch and helpful<br />

volunteers this June 20 - 25. All purchased passes<br />

must be picked up during the hours listed below.<br />
