Certified Courses at
BVRIT-N
The Department of ECE, BVRITN conducted Two short term
courses on 1).Digital System Design (VLSI) and 2). Embedded
system design in association with CDAC during 19th to 20th Feb
2016 and during 27th feb to 11th march 2016 respectively. The
total duration of the courses was 15 days. Mr. Sadhu Srinivas,
Technical Officer, CDAC and Yesho Nagaraju, Technical Officer,
CDAC inaugurated the course at Department of ECE, BVRIT
Narsapur on 19th February 2016 in the presence of
M.D.Akhramuddin, Sirisha, Vinod and Kusum and Sathish kumar
from CDAC, ECE BVRITN faculty and students. Mr.M.C.Chinnaiah
was the chief coordinator of the C DAC courses and Mr.Bharath
Babu,Mr.Shaik Shafi, Mr.Rambabu and Mrs.Jayshree Das were the
co-coordinators.
The main objective of the courses was to improve the knowledge
in VLSI front end design from DSD course and Linux, arm
processors from ESD course, ultimately making the students able
to get the jobs in core companies and get the knowledge for
higher studies. Mr.M.D. Akhramuddin and Sirisha were the
speakers of the DSD sessions and Mr.Vinodh, Mr.Kusum.K and
Mr.P .Sathishkumar were the speakers of the ESD sessions.
During Hands on sessions of DSD students can be able to learn
about basics of Verilog, Vivad Tools, FPGA Implementation, Chip
scope advantages, VLSI, Combinational and sequential circuits
designing. During Hands on sessions of DSD students can be able
to learn about C-programming for embedded, introduction to
ARM Architecture, Instruction set architecture, Introduction to
LPC1768 Exceptions, Timer-RTC,UART, SPI, I2C, ADC,DAC etc.
Eye tracking and
Pupillometry
A DST sponsored Brain Storming session on "Eye tracking and
Pupillometry: A Window into Cognition and Cognitive Disorders"
was organized by ECE dept. at Minerva Grand, Hyderabad on 8th
February 2016. Based upon this meeting ECE dept organized
Guest lecture on “Differentiating cognitive-linguistic competence
from performance in adults with acquired neurological
disorders: Relevance to assistive technology” by Dr. Brooke
Hallowell ,Executive Director, Ohio University Collaborative on
Aging, Organized by Centre for Cognitive Sciences, BVRITN on 9th
February, 2016.

A Training Program on “VLSI Design” by Resource Persons Mr.

INCUBATION CENTER (In collaboration with CYIENT Pvt. Ltd)
from 2nd December 2015 – 28th February 2016.
Workshop organized on “VLSI Design Using Synopsys tools" by
Navneet Kaur Application Engineer & Mr. Sujith, Application
Engineer, SYNOPSYS and EIGEN technologies at ECE Dept, BVRITN
from 29th Dec 2015 to 2nd Jan 2016.
INDUSTRY
INTERACTION
Dr.I.A.Pasha, Mrs.Jaysree Das met the resource person
Someshwar rao(SC-E) at Research centre IMARAT and had the
Discussion of HRR R&D project activity on 16th Dec 2015.
Mr.Chinnaiah, Mr.Anirudh, Ms.Divya Vani met the resource
persons Peter S Carbuary Deputy Director General-Research at
ICRISAT and had the discussion of Field Robotics on 26th Dec
2015.
INDUSTRIAL VISITS
Industrial visit was arranged for III B.Tech students to BSNL,
region: Narsapur, Rangareddy, Patancheru on 06-02-2016.
Students learned about BTS, Optical Fiber, Switches, Networks,
Broadband services and wireless communication Techniques
from this visit.
Industrial visit was arranged for II B.Tech students to RTTC,
Gachibowli on 06-02-2016. Students got to know about Facilities
in R&D Section, Infrastructure, Resources and its operations.

CONNECTING PEOPLE
ROBOTHON 2016

The First ever Robothon event was conducted by Department of
ECE and Mech Engg at BVRITN and is part of Robofest 2016. The
Robothon program is designed to help communities,
organizations and individuals to spark conversation and
connection through Robotic experiences. At Robothon events, a
screening of Robot prototype or a combination of live
presentation and prototype sparks deep conversation and
connections at the institution or Maker space. Events are planned
and coordinated independently, in an institution or maker space
granted by Robofest. Robofest believes passionately in the power
of Robotics. Robothon is a Global Hackathon was organized in 7
cities across the country, Hyderabad, Delhi-NCR, Calcutta, Vizag,
Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kharagpur a month prior to Robofest that
was conducted on 12th - 13th, March, 2016.
One Robothon in each city is conducted in educational institution
granted by Robofest team. Based on the participants and special
requests, RoboFest will organize exclusive Robothons for one
particular institution, where all participants should belong to the
same institution. 3 teams out of the 8 teams from BVRIT have
been selected for the further process of Robothon. Out of the
selected teams from all the colleges, one team will get a chance to
showcase their Robot in Robofest.
FORWARD THINKING
With lot of encouragement and divine support from
management, Hyderabad Management Association chapter was
inaugurated at our campus on 28th December 2015 in presence
and blessing of our honorable chairman Mr.Vishnu Raju and
HMA dignitaries. In this event he directed, motivated and
suggested the student's significance of skills and its role in
corporate and emphasized on importance of hard work and
optimistic nature to mould their bright career with wonderful
exemplifications.
As part of the chapter inauguration, minimum 20 students'
memberships are indispensible but with lot of hopes and
enthusiasm 42 students had taken student membership for their
future endeavors. As per the records of HMA SDP (Student
development program) cell our BVRIT occupied lion share in
memberships.
Objective of chapter opening:
The main emphasis of this chapter opening at BVRIT Narsapur is
especially and exclusively all the management aspirants need to
sculpt themselves with their own chisel by costing and investing
their own competences and skills for their own future.
1) Students will come to know real corporate world and their
expectations
2) HMA will assist all the management aspirants in
Placements, Internships, Entrepreneur club, guest sessions
etc...

Chandran for supporting me to open this chapter at BVRIT
Narsapur. Similarly I would like to thank our honorable Principal
Mr. Venkateswarlu who had extended his divine support to
