NUDE: Give us a little background on
yourself and where you grew up.
Ella: The first eight years of my life were in
Australia and later I moved to Miami until
I was 14. Then my mum ventured out to LA
and I've been here ever since.
NUDE: What do you feel you can
accomplish through photography?
Ella: My honest view on things and bring
my creative ideas to life. There's nothing
like itching to shoot a concept you've had
in your head for awhile and creating your
very own masterpiece.
NUDE: What would you do if you knew
you could never fail?
Ella: I feel like there wouldn't be a
diference in how I would live my life. No
matter how many times I fail, I get right
back up and find another alternative or
solution. I mean, failing is inevitable, as is
success.
NUDE: Since you also pursue modeling, do
you feel you have an advantage as a
photographer?
Ella: Hmmm, that's a hard one. I've been
modeling since I was 10, and shooting since
I was 14 (out of pure curiosity), but my
eagerness to shoot wasn't because I was a
model. Does it have its advantages? At
times, but modeling doesn't bring me
inspiration to shoot. When I'm modeling
I'm a completely diferent person than when
I'm shooting. It's two diferent worlds for
me. You would think they'd work hand-inhand
but for me, they don't entirely.
