means no waiters bothering you come time for the movie. The Luxury Loungers. Obviously I saved the best bit for last, they don't call them luxury loungers for no reason. Our next go round we found were seats with ease. Still closer to the screen than we would've liked, but the recliners made up for it. Containing the comfort of a thousand recliners, a thousand paw-paws would fall asleep in, they are the piece de resistance of the whole experience, of course! Only problem was we couldn't figure out how to make them recline! Unlike your paw-paw's recliner, they don't come with and an obvious old worn out lever on the side of the chair. Luckily for me, my chair started reclining on its own. Unluckily for me it happened while I was eating so I nearly choked to death. My friend wasn't as lucky...or unlucky, and she spent the majority of the movie trying to figure it out. About 20 minutes until the end of the movie my chair started adjusting to the upright position on its own again, or so I thought! Come to find out, the entire time my purse had been pushing up against the buttons on the side panel of the chair that controls how you recline! We hadn't even noticed them because they sort of blend into the chair! They could stand to be more visible, but it is still an incredible feature! And it turns out sitting up front is not as bad as usual when you have a fancy beyond comfortable luxury lounger, that can recline all the way back to lessen the strain on your eyes. Pro tip: When you're going to something like the Lake Charles Cinemark Movie Bistro, you are paying for the experience. So know it’s okay to splurge a little and drop your expectations. Go into it with an open mind. You're definitely going to be paying more than you would for a movie in the $5 movie bin at Walmart, and the food isn't five-star cuisine. But hey what did you expect? It's a movie theater! Besides, it's just something really fun to get out of the house and go do. You get what you pay for, and here what you pay for is great service, a seat reserved specially for you, and the experience of ultimate movie theater comfort. Enjoy!
