Teachers are given the ultimate privilege
to not only teach core educational
concepts to thousands of students,
but contribute to the life lessons and
fundamental elements that provide
countless opportunities for the growth
and development of a diversity of
promising adolescents into productive
contributions to the world community.
Inception of a human resource archive
that documents the endless number
of personalities that ensure that
learning environments are effective
and authentic is possible. In addition to
maintaining continuous contacts and
collaborations with former students,
there is the potential for the creation of
annual celebrations of academic and
community-conscious success, featuring
former and present students. Over time,
the significance of involving students
with global initiatives—poverty, racism,
disease, abuse, etc. should be a viable
part of lesson planning. Integration of
interpersonal skills of individual students
is also essential to motivating student
commitment through cross-curricula
lesson design. All children have value and
can contribute to a learning community.
They are part of a microcosm that offer
a reasonable facsimile of what one
can expect within the real world. For
significant and integral moments within
the lives of each and every student, there
is opportunity to make life-changing
differences. With the understanding
that children are spiritual gifts within
earthen vessels, teachers gain insight
that becomes a critical necessity in the
educational metamorphosis that creates
a promising future of adults of positive
social consciousness.
