Jackie Odum is a Research Associate for the Poverty to Prosperity Program at<br />

the Center for American Progress. Odum has been recognized as a South Texas<br />

Academic Rising Scholar and a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Scholar.<br />

Shiv Rawal is a Research Assistant for the Economic Policy team at the Center<br />

for American Progress.<br />

Alex Rowell is a Research Assistant for the Economic Policy team at the Center<br />

for American Progress.<br />

Danyelle Solomon is the Director of Progress 2050 at the Center for American<br />

Progress. Previously, she served as policy counsel at the Brennan Center for<br />

Justice’s Washington, D.C., office where she focused on criminal justice issues,<br />

including sentencing, corrections, and police reform. Prior to joining the<br />

Brennan Center, Solomon served as legislative counsel at the White House<br />

Office of National Drug Control Policy within the Office of Legislative Affairs,<br />

where she focused on federal drug policy. Solomon also served as counsel to<br />

Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), then chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee<br />

Terrorism and Homeland Security Subcommittee.<br />

Rebecca Vallas is the Managing Director of the Poverty to Prosperity Program<br />

at the Center for American Progress. She began her anti-poverty career working<br />

directly with low-income individuals and communities, with a focus on people<br />

with disabilities and those with criminal records, as an attorney and policy advocate<br />

at Community Legal Services in Philadelphia. She was twice named one of<br />

Forbes’ “30 Under 30” for law and policy.<br />

Christian Weller is a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress and a<br />

professor of public policy at the McCormack Graduate School of Policy and<br />

Global Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston. His area of expertise<br />

includes retirement income security, macroeconomics, money and banking, and<br />

international finance.<br />
