Failure <strong>of</strong> <strong>main</strong> pipeline «АTI» on the 178 th кm<br />
1. Failure caused by through fault <strong>of</strong> pipe (crack) on the pipe<br />
<strong>of</strong> cold rolling.<br />
2. The failure was caused likely by cycle load for this pipe<br />
section which seemed to be appeared <strong>during</strong> construction<br />
when cold rolling had been performed with technological<br />
process disruption .<br />
3. The failure was eliminated by 88 workers and 30 special<br />
purpose vehicles :<br />
• 49 workers <strong>of</strong> Main Pipeline Division PRYKARPATTRANSGAZ<br />
• 37 workers <strong>of</strong> Construction Division UKRGASPROMBUD<br />
• 2 workers <strong>of</strong> Centre for Technical Inspection TECHDIAGAS<br />
4. Emergency recovery works:<br />
• start: 7 36 p.m 29.08.16<br />
• finish: 9 10 p.m 02.08.16<br />
• duration: 98 hours<br />
5. Gas leakage 445 thous. mcm, cost UAH 2,7mln.
