For over 17 years, blue has been the little independent, ‘ladies in the know’ visit when<br />
they’re in Saffron Walden. blue has built a sizeable, loyal customer base with ladies visiting<br />
from across the UK. We caught up with blue’s owner, Hayley Attridge, who sheds a little<br />
light on her success so far. “My customers always tell me they love the little one-offs they<br />
simply don’t find anywhere else. I choose timeless, easy to wear, pieces which can easily<br />
be integrated into their wardrobes. Because of this, my ladies rarely leave empty handed!<br />
I believe one of blue’s secrets is that I picture four key ladies when I buy collections. These<br />
four ladies I call ‘Maggie, Mel, Emma and Megan’, and as I look at collections, I build each<br />
look around these ladies.”<br />
With its mixture of high street brands such as Sandwich and American Vintage, through to<br />
the individual chic French labels like Des Petits Hauts and SET as well as coveted footwear<br />
brands such as Ash, Hayley has ensured whichever lady you are, blue’s formula will have<br />
something that suits you. blue will be showing its new seasonal collection and the ‘four<br />
ladies’ at our forthcoming <strong>Velvet</strong> Fashion Show on Thursday 6th <strong>October</strong> so it’s certainly<br />
worth coming along to see which look is for you...<br />
