The third issue of our RUTHMANN magazine was
finished just in time on the completion and
presentation of our latest developments of
T 650 HF/ T 750 HF and TB 290.
Once again, we have revolutionized innovatively.
We are very proud to bring the industry ahead in a
revolutionary way and we promise you:
‘We will continue like this!’
In retrospect, we will show you what happened
since the industry event ‘bauma 2016’ took place.
2016 will be the most successful business year in
our 115-year company’s history and we would like

GROUND-BREAKING FALL INNOVATIONS
The customers and operators
will experience more utility by
2° more elevation of the
telescope system. By the current
83° elevation angle and with
only
8.7 m jacking width, it is
possible to support even closer
to the objects.
The possible maximum
permissible inclination, we
permit for all major equipment
of HEIGHT performance-class
and in turn shows practicality in
use, is 2°. This is considerably
more than usual in the market
and extremely useful because
the operator does not
compensate for as much of
inclinations. Thus, he needs
much less compensation
material (for example plates or
timber beams), which equally
increases safety. In addition,
lower set-up times are needed.
Together these are again real
pluses for us.
Second coup:
The new T 650 HF
All this also applies to the
second new STEIGER ® with the
model name T 650 HF, with
which operators can reach 65
meters working height. This
model as well is offered on a
4-axle chassis (32 t) of various
manufacturers and offers the
advantage that the total length
of the working platform unit
does not exceed 12 m total
length.
This makes the working
platform unit compact and
manoeuvrable and also means
that this STEIGER ® can be
driven to the workplaces on
European roads without special
permission.
With 43 m outreach (at a basket
load of 100 kg) – this is still 4 m
longer than the current 60
m-class-STEIGER ® T630 – the
T 650 HF takes the worldwide
top position in its class. It is
provided with the ‘highflex’
telescopic technology, as well
as the bigger model T 750 HF.

"EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL"-
THE NEW TB (R) CONTROL UNIT
We have presented our new
control panel named
‘COCKPIT’ a year ago.
guiding, clear design and robust
keys, everything at the COCKPIT
can be handled easily.
Meanwhile, this ultra-modern
control technology has found its
way throughout the entire
STEIGER ® series, even in our
popular TB and TBR classes. The
protection hood comes along in
a simple and yet ingenious way
and equally provides benefits for
operators and operators.
Our new control panel COCKPIT
is a story of success. Regardless
if with or without display, the
operation of the STEIGER ® has
become even easier and safer.
Thanks to symbolic operator
All function keys have backlight
and a status LED, which
indicates the switching status.
An outlet for 230V - and another
for 24V in the control panel are
standard. In addition, customers
have a variety of optional
equipment with useful
additional features, which can
also be retrofitted.
Under that is, for example, the
protection cover/ hood for our
new COCKPIT control panel. It
is ingeniously simple and simply
ingenious. The light but sturdy
plastic cap is pushed during
operation and thereafter, just
over the edge of the lowered
COCKPIT console and then
locked. This ensures not only
protection against wind and
weather. This is also an
additional safety feature,
because nothing can fall down
easily onto the control elements.

Operator - and practice-oriented information and
control technology in the jib of the RUTHMANN
TB- and TBR-STEIGER ® ’s.
Our COCKPIT is sufficiently
isolated according to DIN VDE
0682-742/ working platforms for
operation under live lines (up
1000 V AC and up 1500 V DC).
Last but not least the operator
friendliness is substantiated by
the modular set up of the
cockpit. All elements are
maintenance-free and can be
replaced, if needed, quickly and
easily. •

SERVICE points
For further optimization of our
already very extensive service
network in GERMANY, we set up
the additional SERVICE points
‘Saar and Hanover’. We offer the
best on-site service in the
industry through our presence
that stretches over huge areas
that is managed by professional
service personnel.
Lutz Datan looks after all
customers competently and
reliably in Hanover with his
mobile service. •

service station in Groß-Geraus was done in
August 2016.

as well: Spot Hire Services from
Liverpool.
Their ‘new’ but excellently
refurbished used T 285 will be

difficult accessible terrain and
the maintenance of smaller
wind turbines.

bauma 2016 at Munich - Impressions from the industry-event
Our trade fair team returned
from the ‘bauma’ extremely
satisfied and with many
lucrative orders in their luggage.
For example, the Finish
company Janneniska, increased
their current purchase orders
about 25 additional units of our
TB 270+ - to finally 35 truck
mounted working platforms .
Also a french customer ordered
15 BLUELIFTS.
Our very well-attended
After Show Party was a
big success as well.
The trade visitors showed
particularly great interest at
our new ‘highflex’ STEIGER®
T 510 HF and T 570 HF which
celebrated their world premiere
in Munich.
