Portland Roofers<br />

on the Job<br />

Roofers & Waterproofers Local 49, Portland,<br />

OR, members re-roofed the Marine<br />

Drive Distribution Center in Portland. The<br />

1,000-square job consisted of built-up three<br />

ply and cap sheet. The roofers work for<br />

signatory contractor Griffith Roofing out of<br />

Beaverton, OR.<br />

Meanwhile, across town, employees of Snyder<br />

Roofing were roofing new construction<br />

on North Williams. Local 49 roofers applied a<br />

torch-ply Siplast system on the union-pension<br />

funded residential building. ■<br />
