MACHINE ADJUSTMENTS - CORRECTIVE AND MAINTENANCE<br />
To adjust the clamp plates parallel with ledge<br />
press the clamp plate firmly against the ledge<br />
of the bed plate with the hand - depress the<br />
clamp lever (<strong>101</strong> - B 19) . This will hold<br />
the clamp plate in position. Adjust the screw<br />
firmly against edge . Release the clamp<br />
lever - and screw will be in adjustment.<br />

ADJUSTING THE CLAMP OPERATING MECHANISM<br />
To raise clamp arms for more<br />
clearance between mats and feet -<br />
loosen nut and screw out screw<br />
. For less clearance screw inward.<br />
(set check nut after adjustment)<br />
To apply more pressure between<br />
clamp arms and mats - loosen nut<br />
on stud and move it upward with<br />
screw set with nuts and -<br />
to lessen pressure move stud<br />
downward<br />
To raise clamps sooner or later -<br />
after cutting - on a cut after<br />
machine - or after stitching on a<br />
cut before machine - loosen clamp<br />
screw and move arm in<br />
direction of arrow for earlier rise<br />
and the reverse for later rise.<br />
Note:<br />
This adjustment will not raise<br />
clamps sooner or later on cord<br />
trim machine.<br />
