School details
Beacon Hill Academy is a school for pupils with severe and profound learning
difficulties aged 3-19 and a Specialist College for sensory and physical needs.
The school has just had an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted judgement and recognised as a
Platinum Artsmark School. The Cultural Champion is Amanda Bradley.
Why did Beacon Hill Academy join Trailblazer?
To develop more links to the arts in their education provision and with other
schools or agencies to share expertise and learning.

What whole school priority was linked to Trailblazer?
Beacon Hill Academy students require support and education when they are
beyond statutory school age and the school had identified this transition as a
key concern.
