<strong>13</strong>. KIWISPORT FUNDING COMMITTED AS AT 30 JUNE 20<strong>13</strong><br />

During the year <strong>Harbour</strong> <strong>Sport</strong> received funds from <strong>Sport</strong> NZ for the Kiwisport Initiative. The amount shown in Received<br />

in Advance includes amounts that have been allocated to projects but not yet paid out at balance date. The allocation of<br />

funds at 30 June 20<strong>13</strong> is as follows:-<br />

14. SUBSEQUENT EVENTS<br />

<strong>Sport</strong> NZ has announced that from 1 July 20<strong>13</strong> they will invest through a new trust, Auckland <strong>Sport</strong>, rather than fund<br />

the existing four Auckland RSTs directly. Post year-end <strong>Harbour</strong> <strong>Sport</strong> Trust has signed a Relationship Agreement and a<br />

Transfer Agreement relating to <strong>Sport</strong> NZ investment with Auckland <strong>Sport</strong> and clarifying future roles and responsibilities.<br />

The establishment of Auckland <strong>Sport</strong> may lead to changes in future with some administrative functions presently carried<br />

out by the trust being centralised and operated in future by Auckland <strong>Sport</strong>. However no significant decisions have been<br />

made in this regard as yet. <strong>Sport</strong> NZ has confirmed that the level of funding into the four current Auckland RSTs will remain<br />

unchanged across all programme delivery for the 20<strong>13</strong>/2014 year. <strong>Harbour</strong> <strong>Sport</strong> Trust will continue to operate as an<br />

independent charitable trust and in accordance with the terms of its trust deed.<br />
