THE BRENTWOOD LEG CLUB
What is the Brentwood Leg Club? The
Brentwood Leg Club is a community based
social clinic which provides free treatment,
health promotion, education and ongoing care
for people of all age groups experiencing legrelated
problems. Our Club is affiliated with
the Lindsay Leg Club Foundation, a national
charity created to promote the Leg Club
model of care and support local Leg Clubs in
the UK, Europe and Australia.
Would you like to receive lower limb treatment
from a team of NHS/North East London
Foundation Trust tissue viability and community
nurses? Would you like to be seen by chronic
wound, lymphoedema, compression hosiery
and compression device specialists? Would you
like to receive advice or referrals on other
healthcare problems? Would you like a cup of
tea while you wait to be treated? Would you like
to meet and make new friends? Would you like
to volunteer some of your time to help run our
Club and organise parties? All of this is possible
on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm until 3.30pm
at Christ Church Hall, Warley Hill, Great
Warley, Brentwood, CM13 3AA.
Each Tuesday, a group of volunteers and nurses
prepare the church hall so that our members
(existing and new) can receive appropriate
treatment and on-going well leg care. While on
the other side of the hall, refreshments are
served amidst lively conversations.
If you are concerned about your legs or if you
are interested in helping us run these afternoon
Club sessions, please come by on a Tuesday
afternoon - no appointment is necessary!
Parking is available in front of the church hall or
on the grass to the left of the drive. Also, local
taxi services know where we are.
