ABOUT MEMBERS MAKE IT POSSIBLE. Support from members of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art ensures outstanding exhibitions and educational programs remain free for all. Brunch on top of the town Fresco, located on the top floor of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, is a spectacular spot for fresh, seasonal brunch in the summertime. Fresco's Sunday brunch, served June through August, is priced at $25 per person and the menu offerings change each month. Brunch begins with a shared plate of little sugar-dusted buttermilk doughnuts and includes your choice of any entrée. Select two beverages from a long list of alcoholic or non-alcoholic features like a green tomato bloody mary, pimm's cup, freshsqueezed mimosa, orange-cardamom cold brewed coffee or vanilla cafe au lait, included in the $25/ person price. Visit frescomadison. com to view menus. Reservations accepted and walk-ins welcome, brunch service begins each Sunday at 9:30 am and the last seating is at 1:30 pm. Fresco's chefs have a deep appreciation for fresh, local ingredients, sourced directly when possible from the Dane County Farmers’ Market. The staff understands the complex dietary restrictions of their customers and works hard to accommodate vegetarian, dairy-free, nut-free and gluten-sensitive diners. MMoCA Members Receive a 10% discount at Fresco and all Food Fight restaurants. About the Museum The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art is an independent, nonprofit organization presenting exhibitions by local, regional, national, and international artists. A permanent collection of over 5,000 works of art is maintained and enlarged through gifts and purchases. The museum’s education department presents programs to increase public understanding and appreciation of modern and contemporary art. Hours Museum hours are Tues–Thurs: noon–5; Fri: noon–8; Sat: 10–8; and Sun: noon–5. The museum is closed on Mondays. Administrative offices are open Mon–Fri: 9–5. Accessibility Exhibitions, lectures, tours, and special events at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art are accessible to people with disabilities. Design MMoCA Nearly 250 art and design enthusiasts celebrated the unique installations of 15 design teams with a fun and fabulous Design MMoCA Preview Gala. These innovative installations were inspired by pieces from the museum's Permanent Collection and created by designers of all types —from textile designers to architects! Jerome Frautschi, a long-time friend of the arts in Madison and former board member of the museum. A weekend-long anniversary celebration on April 8, 9 and 10 included a special MMoCA Nights reception with honored guest Cesar Pelli, as well as talks, tours, a Museum Store trunk show, and family activities.
