invitation, "Come unto Me, all ye that labour and<br />

are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My<br />

yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and<br />

lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your<br />

souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is<br />

light" [Matthew 11:28-30]. We read that the<br />

common people heard Him gladly.<br />

<strong>The</strong> knowledge which Jesus imparted was<br />

richer than the gold of Ophir, yet the value of the<br />

truth He presented was not appreciated. He<br />

solicited a drink of water from a stranger, and was<br />

fully rewarded if his words of life were accepted.<br />

<strong>The</strong> tear of penitence, evidencing contrition of<br />

soul, was that which he esteemed.<br />
