<strong>The</strong> bent of the mind of every individual will<br />

show itself. If he feels rich and increased with<br />

goods and has need of nothing, he is spiritually<br />

bankrupt. Those who feel their spiritual necessities<br />

will show their soul eagerness, their ardent desires,<br />

which extend upward and onward above every<br />

earthly, temporal inducement, to the eternal.<br />

Do not borrow anxiety for the future. It is today<br />

that we are in need. It is "while it is called Today,"<br />

"if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts."<br />

Heb. 3:13,15. <strong>The</strong> Lord is our helper, our God, and<br />

our strength in every time of need.<br />

Attended morning meeting. My heart was<br />

drawn out in supplication to God for the power of<br />

His grace and the pardon of our transgressions. I<br />

thank the Lord for the assurance of His grace, that<br />

is for His people now, today.<br />

We are to keep close to the Source of our<br />

strength day by day, and when the enemy comes in
