were good and we were only two hours and ten<br />

minutes going to the place. Willie <strong>White</strong> was<br />

somewhat chilled. We stopped at the home of<br />

Brother Vermer,-- who with his wife has recently<br />

embraced the truth--and laid off our heavy wraps,<br />

and then went to the schoolhouse.<br />

We found a hot fire, low ceiling, and a house<br />

packed full of people. Two-thirds were<br />

unbelievers. I spoke to them from the fifty-eighth<br />

chapter of Isaiah. Good attention was given.<br />

I had intended to dwell more particularly upon<br />

the rich blessings which will ever react back upon<br />

us in our efforts to bless others, but the first part of<br />

the chapter seemed to fade from my mind, and the<br />

last part to be presented before me with<br />

distinctness. I dwelt upon the work we were all<br />

required of God to do to repair the breach that has<br />

been made in the law of God to do to repair the<br />

breach that has been made in the law of God and to<br />

raise up the foundations of many generations--that<br />

is, the Sabbath of the fourth commandment.
