eing fruitful in every good work, and increasing in<br />

<strong>the</strong> knowledge of God; streng<strong>the</strong>ned with all might,<br />

according to His glorious power, unto all patience<br />

and long-suffering with joyfulness; giving thanks<br />

unto <strong>the</strong> Fa<strong>the</strong>r, which hath made us meet to be<br />

partakers of <strong>the</strong> inheritance of <strong>the</strong> saints in light."<br />

I entreat all, especially those who minister in<br />

word and doctrine, to make an unreserved<br />

surrender to God. Consecrate your lives to Him,<br />

and be indeed ensamples to <strong>the</strong> flock. Be no longer<br />

content to remain dwarfs in spiritual things. Let<br />

your aim be nothing short of perfection of<br />

Christian character. Let your lives be unselfish and<br />

blameless, that <strong>the</strong>y may ever be a living rebuke to<br />

those who are selfish and whose affections seem to<br />

be upon <strong>the</strong>ir earthly treasure. God grant that you<br />

may be streng<strong>the</strong>ned according to <strong>the</strong> riches of His<br />

glory, "with might by His Spirit in <strong>the</strong> inner man;<br />

that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that<br />

ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able<br />

to comprehend with all saints what is <strong>the</strong> breadth,<br />

and length, and depth, and height; and to know <strong>the</strong><br />

love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye<br />
