Motion by Mr. Speer, seconded by Mr. Kendrick, that the Board
approve J. Frank Dobie High School Band to travel to Orlando, Florida
May 11-15, 2005, as shown on page 88, Section III of the agenda, and
copied below.
The J. Frank Dobie Band requests permission to travel to Orlando,
Florida May 11 – 15, 2005. The students will miss three days of school.
Their last out-of-state trip was four years ago.
The cost of the trip will be approximately $770.00 per person. Students
will fundraise using the 60/40 guidelines in district policy.
District policies will be strictly enforced and chaperones will be trained
in their duties. Approximately 80 students and 10 adults, including a
campus administrator, will take the trip.
We recommend approval for the J. Frank Dobie High School Band to
travel to Orlando, Florida May 11- 15, 2005.

the General Textbook Committee for 2004-2005, as shown on pages
89-93, including addendum page 93a, Section III of the agenda, and
copied below.
