Quarriers Event<br />
Social care charity Quarriers have put together<br />
a great evening’s programme to launch their<br />
End of Summer concert with the legendary Les<br />
McKeown’s Bay City Rollers headlining.<br />
Friday 4 September sees the band perform at Bishopton’s<br />
Mar Hall in aid of Quarriers’ Coaching for Life programme. Coaching for Life<br />
supports vulnerable young people dealing with homelessness, addiction and a<br />
neglected education, to work towards a positive future.<br />
Quarriers Fiona Scott said: “We are delighted to have Les McKeown’s Bay City<br />
Rollers performing. Guests will be rocking along to their greatest hits like ‘Bye<br />
Bye Baby’, “Shang a Lang” and “Summer Love Sensation” at this really special<br />
event.”<br />
Stream Marine Training, the national maritime, oil and gas training providers,<br />
are sponsoring the event. CEO, Martin White, said “We are proud to be working<br />
alongside Quarriers and supporting such a fantastic cause, which is close to<br />
many people’s hearts.”<br />

Erskine Classic Car Show<br />
Yet another successful year at the Erskine Classic Car Show<br />
when it returned to Ingliston Country Club recently with a fantastic array of over<br />
500 cars to admire as well as food, entertainment and stalls.<br />
A fantastic day out was had by all,<br />
whilst raising much needed funds<br />
for Erskine, Caring for ex-Service<br />
men and women.<br />
Once again<br />
there were<br />
many classic<br />
car clubs in<br />
attendance<br />
to support<br />
Erskine.
