allowed to talk” per her agreement. He skipped an alimony
payment and launched an assault on Maples in the press,
intending to “send a message,” maligning her intelligence
and insisting that Maples was just looking for her “day in
the sun.” Trump’s lawyer characterized Maples as a “woman
scorned” and suggested her limited “mental capacity” made
