Energy-effi ciency for demanding
operating conditions
I-Valo wishes to off er its customers lighting solutions
with aff ordable life-cycle costs.
In the example below, the lighting level of Wibe
AB's factory in Sweden was almost tripled by
replacing the old luminaires with high-quality I-Valo
luminaires. Despite this, energy savings of 20% were
achieved. If the lighting level had been kept the
same, switching to I-Valo luminaires would have
generated a 60% energy saving for the customer. By
increasing the lighting level, the company achieved
better occupational safety and comfort in addition
to energy savings.

means of closed 400 W Laxus luminaires equipped
with fi lters:

- Metal halide lamps (MT)
- Installation height: 6.5 m
- Old luminaire lines exploited
- Lighting level nearly tripled (500 lx)
- Occupational safety increased
- Annual energy-saving 20%
