Regular luminaires 6232, 6242
I-Valo’s Regular luminaires are
designed for challenging industrial
spaces, where the luminaires are
exposed to air impurities (e.g., dust).
The dust rim of the regular luminaire
will prevent the front glass from
soiling, and the dust fi lter will keep
the inside of the luminaire clean. This
way the luminaire retains its high
light output ratio even in the most
demanding conditions, and there is
no need to use an excessive number
of luminaires. Moreover, long service
intervals and quick lamp changes
guarantee an overall cost-eff ective
solution.
Regular luminaires are typically used
in workshops, the turbine houses of
power plants, pulp and paper mills,
sawmills and the wood-processing
industry, warehouses, etc.
Regular luminaires may be fi tted
with a patented safety cover for use
in the food and packaging industry.
Safety covers may also be ordered for
regular luminaires that have already
been installed.
Typical installation height 5–30 m.
Structure
- A closed and air-pressure tested luminaire with a dust fi lter
- Ballast box and mounting rail of aluminium with epoxy coating, grey colour (RAL 7040)
- The luminaire housing is of blank aluminium
- Tempered safety glass
- With capacitors
Installation
- Surface mounting
- The luminaire comes with a separate mounting rail, which facilitates both the installation and
future maintenance of the luminaire
- Can be mounted directly on the ceiling, suspension rail or cable ladder without additional brackets
- Separately ordered brackets mentioned below are used with wall and beam mounting
Accessories
- Ceiling/wall bracket 6076 - Suspension rod 6078
- Wall and beam bracket 6091 - Safety cover (PMMA) 6090
Connection
- Cable junction box -o- 5 x 2,5 mm² or a 1.5 m cable and plug

- If required, the luminaire may be fi tted with a patented safety cover 6090, making it suitable for
use in the food and packaging industry
